Well, here I go again. Rolling Eyes Am looking at this wheel as I am not a spoke wheel person and have 19" and the guy told me that I could go with the 21" with low profile tire and it would handle better on curves.

Any advise or comments?? Wink

You want to put that on your bike? Shocked It should be hung in your house for a conversation item... Laughing Very nice, both thumbs up on this one. I haven't heard if having a 19 or 21 makes too much difference. The 21 is just a bit taller.

DTbagger and I knew that you would know the answer but we figured it would be a little bit taller but with the low profile tires it would be about the same height but wheel would be larger.

Barry, that rim does look pretty cool but what kind of "low profile" tires are you talking about? Those like I've seen on some cars or SUV's where the rim is real nice but from the outside tread to the rim is only about 2 inches? If so, those don't look safe to me. A motorcycle tire can't be real flat like those because it has to have some body to it in order to still grip the road when you lean - has to be enough tire there to lean or you'll have a problem for sure.
Nice to finally meet you yesterday too.

Hobie,

Was told that with the low profile tired the bike would stear better and would notice it on the curves.

Nice to finally meet you yesterday as well.

Love it when a plan come together. Smile

Double down on 9. 10 and eleven when the dealer has a 8 or less and split Aces and Eights. Smile hehe

Barry, Nice wheel. I have a simular wheel on mine with a 21 inch tire. It does handle easier. However, if you haven't noticed yet, keeping them polished is a trick in itself. I think I found a answer, but will hold judgement until I get an idea of how long the shine lasts.

Barry,
P.S. Avons work better on these wheels because of the tire width. However, make sure your front end will accept the wider tire.

I decided not to go with Chrome but instead went with polished. Smile The matching caliper will be in this coming week.
